 Currently, COVID obliges us to work mainly remotely but our offices are located in the heart of the Quartier des Spectacles in Montreal, metro Place des arts.

 We are experiencing unprecedented growth, and are looking for individuals at all levels of experience. We encourage our team to take on new challenges so the job duties will be defined by your abilities. We have many new and ongoing projects in Montreal and Ottawa and need a variety of skillsets.

 We are currently looking to fill three (3) positions :

Senior architect specializing in Conservation/Heritage

Location: Ottawa/working from home 

• 10 years and more of experience in the field of Conservation and Heritage
• Passionate about a job well done and happy to work in a team
• Act as project manager and/or leader of multiple conservation teams
• Responsible for the preparation of Offers of Services and Fees
• Ability to use software such as Revit, AutoCAD and office/Adobe suite.
• Member of the OAQ
• Bilingual French and English

You will supervise teams of various sizes depending on the scope of the projects and you will be as much a project manager as a mentor to the members of your teams, in a bright and interactive environment . However, for the moment, all of our teams are working remotely.

Senior architect

 Location: Montreal/working from home   

If you are an experienced senior architect, you know what we are looking for...

• 10 years and more of experience in the institutional, pharmaceutical, etc. fields.
• Passionate about a job well done and happy to work in a team
• Member of the OAQ
• Bilingual French and English

You will supervise teams of various sizes depending on the scope of the projects. You will be both a project manager and a mentor to interns and juniors, in a bright and interactive, open environment - however, for the moment all of our teams are working remotely.

Intermediate architect

 Location: Montreal/Working from home

 At DFS, an intermediate architect is involved in all phases of projects, large and small.  

• 5 years and more experience
• Excellent knowledge of software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Office Suite, etc.
• Autonomy, initiative, ability to manage several files simultaneously
• Passionate about a job well done and happy to work in a team of course...
• Member of the OAQ
• Bilingual French and English

You will carry out projects within experienced, open and ambitious teams. You will be involved in preliminary studies, concept development, coordination of participants, preparation of estimates and participation in the construction site. You will also be called upon to lead certain projects under the supervision of senior personnel. We value autonomy, team spirit and professionalism.

 Although most projects are carried out by remote work, we provide supervision and constant monitoring while also learning the tools of communication and working in dispersed teams. One day, we will return to our bright, interactive and superbly located offices in downtown Montreal.
